We had a suprise for the last hour or so today for the children .. Buttercup Lane’s very own Mr Tumble ‘East Ardsley Style’ of course.

Not quite sure who had the most fun the children, the parents or Mr Tumble himself but it rounded off the day nicely.

The fun has not stopped there and since loading the photograph onto the Pacey Website we have been inundated with appearance requests.

24th to the 30th June is Child Safety week, Here at Buttercup Lane we have the ideas booklet and we will be making this week a complete fun filled weeek we have lots of activities planned already and we will be having a totally amazing time.

We will be having a SUPER HERO DAY were we all need to be dressed as your favourite action heros – so getting planning now.

Child Minders in East Ardsley annouce another new starter – we all welcome LEVI to our extended family here at Buttercup Lane Childminders.

We are having so much fun, Bikes and Scooters and Dinosaurs and Cars – Karl is in his element !

Today is Autumns Birthday and the party has started

The 19th is Autumn’s Birthday everyone at Buttercup Lane Childminders is wishing her a very happy birthday, We will be having cake, buns, jelly and pass the parcel.

We have been to see Mr Copley again, this has got to be one of the best attractions in Yorkshire and its right on our doorstep. If you have a few hours to spare and your kids are bored you need to go and visit Mr Copley. We had loads of fun with the pumpkins and corn shotting, the farm shop is excellent and you will be amazed with the selection of goods on offer. We have just been to Rothwell Park to test the new kites for this weeks outing and they are wonderful. Huge bright and they both look stunning in the bright daytime sun. We urge all families to pay attention to the sun and be aware of sun burn. Please make sure you have plenty of sun protection cream with you. Just 5 minutes in the mid-day sun can burn you so be careful, There will be a prize this week for the best sun hat so bring them along to Buttercup Lane Childminders in East Ardsley and lets see just how much fun we can have this week.

We have been having lots of fun this week seeing the new additions at Temple Newsam, we have seen the white donkey and all the lambs and piglets. Everyone had lots of fun in the fresh air and we all walked for miles. Not sure how their little legs managed it, at this rate we are all going to be super fit for the summer.

School Holiday activities at Half Term  – Thursday the 16 Feb we all enjoyed an outing to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.  There are over 60 Sculptures there all across the landscape and we walked for miles.
We did not get to spend a lot of time on one of the five indoor gallaries but we all had a fantastic time. The weather was cold but dry and we all wrapped up warm. A full report and pictures to come.
