Author: At Buttercup Lane Childminders – we have another 3 new children. What a week it has been. We cannot wait until we are firing on all cylinders – we have so many fun and exciting things planned , so we welcome <strong>Aiden, Jake and Abi </strong>to our extended family.
Buttercup Lane Childminders are commited to delivering exception child care to each and every child with in our care. We focus on each childs interests and we introduce new activities for all, keeping learning fresh and most importantly fun. We construct the “scaffolding” and we let the children use their own ideas to build their knowledge and experience everything that they need as individuals to further their development.
24th to the 30th June is Child Safety week, Here at Buttercup Lane we have the ideas booklet and we will be making this week a complete fun filled weeek we have lots of activities planned already and we will be having a totally amazing time.
We will be having a SUPER HERO DAY were we all need to be dressed as your favourite action heros – so getting planning now.

We have been to Oakwell Hall today, near Batley it has great walks and lovely scenery we visited the park and play areas, the huge play slide and tyre swing – it was so much fun.
Oakwell Hall now a living museum run by the Batt Family since the 1696’s was built by John Batt in 1583. Baby Raine, Luca, Autumn, Archie, Neo, Leo & Karl, Lia and Kirsten all had a jolly wonderful time.
Oakwell Halls and gardens great for childminders
We have had a fantastic April and here at Buttercup Lane Childminders we welcome “Baby Raine” to our extended child care family.
We are getting quite a lot of interest for September so please if your thinking about using a childminder in East Ardsley make that call sooner rather than later as contracts and numbers are filling up fast. Even if we at Buttercup Lane Childminders cant accommodate you we have links in the community that will be able to help. So please make that call today.
We are also broadening our pick up and drop off services this september to include BlackGates Primary school… contracts permitting so watch this space for further details.
Spring looks as though it has finally arrived and we have been able to visit lots of places of interest already. <a href=”http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/nostell-priory/http://”>Nostell Priory</a>, <a href=”http://www.hemsworthcouncil.co.uk/waterpark.shtmlhttp://”>Hemsworth Water Park</a>, <a href=”http://www.holmfirth.org/http://”>Holmfirth</a>, <a href=”http://www.halifaxtown.co.uk/”>Halifax</a>, <a href=”http://www.observationwheelleeds.co.uk/http://”>Leeds Observation Wheel </a>(OWL) as well as the <a href=”http://www.discoveryorkshirecoast.com/”>East Coast</a> of Yorkshire.
We have also now started to offer 24 hour / 7 days a week childcare. Please enquire early.
Don’t forget that your clocks go forward tonight for British summer time- today we have had rain sleet snow and sunshine but we are now in BST it’s totally crazy but it true . . . Clocks go forward On my way!
We had a fantastic day out at Hemsworth Water Park yesterday, we had sunshine, wind, and snow but we had so much fun.
We will return here in the summer months and have a picnic.
A & T enjoyed it so much they were so tired when we got back to BCLCM.

Today is Autumns Birthday and the party has started
The 19th is Autumn’s Birthday everyone at Buttercup Lane Childminders is wishing her a very happy birthday, We will be having cake, buns, jelly and pass the parcel.

Even with the building world that is going on at the minute this is still a fantastic day out for everyone. Raine had a lovely day looking for all the butterflies and MeerKats. Follow the link to see the Leeds City Council Attraction – Its well worth the visit and the entrance fee. Today was very busy though as its school holidays.
